SAA check to requisition appropriate containers
Empty green and white biohazard bins

Notify Lab Ops of equipment issues/failures

Avoid noise-canceling headphones
Keep the volume at a reasonable level
Recommend using only in one ear
Past Accidents/Injuries
Puncture/Needle stick - Needle use in anaerobic vials, razor blade cuts
Cuts from broken glassÂ
Spill cleanup - shakers
Laceration from pushing the tubing on a filter flask

Eye irritation from microwaving a gel

Dispensing Liquid Nitrogen
Hazardous Waste in Container not in SAA
Hazardous chemical container not in secondary containment
Large centrifuge until it achieves its maximum speed
Always line BioWaste containers with biohazard bag liners
Do not overfill BioWaste containers
Place all items on the top shelf behind the restraint lip
